MRS. DELLA L. CLARK

Of 405 East Logan avenue, died at 6.45 o'clock this morning in Mercy hospital 
where she was admitted on Jan. 24, after several months' illness. She was born 
May 11, 1893, at Camp Creek, Va., a daughter of Jacob and Emily Sumner, and 
married Percy E. Clark in Petersburg, Va., Nov. 3, 1920. Surviving are her 
husband, one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd R. Litz, jr., of Venice, Calif.; three 
grandchildren, her mother, one brother and two sisters, Edmund, Mrs. Uri Reed 
and Mrs. Ben Slusher, all of Floyd, Va. A son, Donald, was killed in World war 
II. Mrs. Clark was a member of the Third E.U.B. church and Sunday school and of 
the D. of A. council 116. Friends will be received at the home after 2 o'clock 
tomorrow afternoon.
