Clark, formerly of Rockdale, Delaware county, in the twenty fourth year of his age. At the commencement of the rebellion, Lieut. Clark enlisted in the three months service as a private, and at the expiration of that time he re-enlisted for three years. His bravery and good behavior gained for him a Lieutenancy. At the battles near Spottsylvania, he fought nobly for seven days, and on the morning of the eighth day, at 8 o'clock, he was wounded. He was beloved by all who knew him, and has left a large circle of friends to mourn his loss. While we mourn for him on earth, we should not forget that our loss is his eternal gain.
