CLITES Died at Her Home on Oak Street Last Evening Last evening at 5:07 o'clock Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Clites, wife of Lawson L. Clites, passed away at her home 596 Oak street, of apoplexy, after an extended illness. Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Clites was born May 15, 1858 at Bald Eagle, the daughter of the late Archibald and Elizabeth Williams Emeigh. On January 20, 1884 at Sandy Ridge she was united in marriage with Lawson L. Clites who survives with the following children: Mrs. Earl B. Waite, Tyrone; Mrs. Grace Phillips, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Mrs. Edgar Kustenbauder, Tyrone; and William E. Clites, Tyrone. Nine grandchildren, one brother Samuel Emeigh, of VanScoyoc and one sister, Mrs. Charles Welsh, of Tyrone also survive. Mrs. Clites was a member of the Columbia Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church and lived her life according to the teachings of that faith. In the home and in the neighborhood in which she lived, she was loved and esteemed by all. Funeral services will, be held on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the home on Oak street, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Bert A. Salter. Interment will be made at Baughman Cemetery.
