He was made a machine hand on Aug. 1, 1921, and on May 1, 1923, became a machine operator, which position he held until his retirement because of poor health on July 1, 1934, with a service record of forty-eight years. During his employment Mr. Closson invented a number of devices to facilitate car repairing. He is survived by two brothers and one sister, Rev.
