At half-past 2 o'clock yesterday morning Mrs. Ida G. Closson, wife of George W. Closson, a car inspector in the Pennsylvania railroad yard, in this city, died at her home in Eldorado of black jaundice. Mrs. Closson was in her usual health up until Monday evening, when she was seized with a chill, and, although everything possible was done for her and medical aid summoned, the skill of the physicians and care of the nurses were of no avail and death ended her sufferings, which were intense, at the hour above stated. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Riling, of Eldorado, and was aged 31 years on the 28th of September last. She was a member of Christ Reformed church, of this city. Beside her husband, she leaves one son, who will be 7 years of age on January next. She is also survived by her parents and one brother, Blair Riling. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock on Friday afternoon, and the interment will be made in the cemetery at Eldorado. Morning Tribune, Thursday, October 16, 1890
