JEMIMA CLOSSON Widow of John Closson and well known resident of Cross Keys, died at her home at that place on Sunday morning at 8.30 o'clock. Death was attributed to cancer of the stomach. She had been seriously ill for the last two months. She was born at Sarah Furnace on Feb. 13, 1849. She was a daughter of John and Apalona Shadle. Her husband, to whom she was wedded many years ago, died on Dec. 24, 1925. Surviving are the following children: Ida Buck, Charles Closson, and Percy Closson, all of Cross Keys, and William, who resided at home; also one sister, Mrs. Hannah Dell of Duncansville, who is in her 92nd year, and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Closson was on of the oldest members of the Duncansville Lutheran church. The funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in the Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, with her pastor, Rev. G. B. Harman, in charge.
