All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ GRACE TAYLOR CLOUSER Our beloved mother, Grace Taylor Clouser, 91, formerly of Grazierville for 56 years and more recently residing at The Presbyterian Home of the Moshannon Valley, Philipsburg, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2003 at 11:35 a.m. She was born Jan. 16, 1912 in Warriors Mark Valley, a daughter of Charles H. and Fannie (Richardson) Taylor. On April 11, 1934 in Warriors Mark, she was united in marriage to W. Ross Clouser, who preceded her in death April 24, 1987. Mrs. Clouser is survived by three children, Connie E. of Crossville, Tenn.; Thomas F. of Vestal, N.Y.; and Linda S. Stern of State College; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great- grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family being preceded in death by a son, Richard R. Clouser, on Nov. 9, 1986; an infant son on Nov. 3, 1943; five brothers, and four sisters. She retired in 1977 from Veeder Root, Altoona from the machining department following 20 years of service. She was valedictorian of her graduating class of 1931 at Warriors Mark High School. She was a longstanding member of the Tyrone Christian Missionary Alliance Church where she was Sunday School teacher, church pianist and held many offices. She had also attended God's Missionary Church in Seven Stars. She had bowled for 40 years in various leagues in the Tyrone, Altoona and Bellemeade area. She also loved to read, sew, enjoy life and serve the Lord and was loved by family and a multitude of friends. At Grace's request, there will be no funeral or visitation. Interment will be at Burket Cemetery in Warriors Mark. Arrangements are under the direction of the Feller Memorial Home. Tyrone Daily Herald, October 11, 2003
