He was born in Duncansville May 22, 1867, and was a carpenter by trade. His wife, Clara (Yon) Cochran, preceded him in death 35 years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clara Leidy and Mrs. Edward Alcott, both of Altoona; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and two half-brothers, Charles Closson of Roaring Spring and William Cochran of Altoona. Friends will be received at the Wolf funeral home, Hollidaysburg, after 7 o'clock this evening.
