He was the son of William, deceased, and Harriet Colbert. He was born at Mt. Etna Jan. 8, 1879, being aged 40 years. He was a member of the Men's Bible class of the Lutheran church and the I.O.O.F. and was employed in the Fluke ice plant and feed mill for the past ten years. On November 17, 1910, he was married to Flora Slatter by Rev. J. B. Rumberger. Surviving are his wife and these children, Lilah, Elmer, Harriet, and Addison, also his mother, and two sisters, Mrs. James Bechtel and Mrs. C. Frye. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. J. M. Rearick, pastor of the Lutheran church; interment in the Presbyterian church.
