COLE A resident of Altoona for the past forty-eight years, was found dead in bed at his home, 1504 Sixteenth avenue, at 9.45 o'clock this morning. He had been ill for the past two weeks but yesterday was considered improving in condition. His death resulted apparently from a heart attack. He was born near Carrolltown, Cambria county, March 15, 1858, a son of William and Mary Cole. His wife, Mrs. Helena (Marks) Cole, died three years ago. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Frank Brunton, Mrs. Colette Meintel, Adrian W. and Basil Cole of this city, Mrs. John Jones and Remy N. Cole of Detroit, and Althea, at home. Nineteen grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive, Mrs. Mary Lauer of Carrolltown, Mrs. Henry Lauer of Coupon, George Cole of Dysart, Joseph of Virginia, Peter, Henry and Frank Cole of this city, Mrs. Charles Leightenberger, Mrs. David O'Connor, Mrs. Catherine Reinhart and Michael Cole of Johnstown, and Mrs. Louis Firato of Canton, O.
