At 3.30 o'clock yesterday morning Mrs. Catherine Coleman, widow of Matthew Coleman, died at her home 1113 Fourteenth street. She had not been well for several days, but her condition was not regarded as serious and her death, therefore, came as a great shock to the immediate members of her family as well as to her friends. Deceased was born in Clonmel, Ireland, 75 years ago. When a young woman she came to this country and for the past fifty-five years had lived for the most part in Hollidaysburg or this city. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. William Bart, Mrs. J. D. McGowan, Miss Nora and Matthew all of this city. She was a lifelong member of the Roman Catholic church and for many years had been a member of St. John's congregation. The funeral cortege will leave her late home at 8.30 o'clock Monday morning and proceed to St. John's pro-cathedral, where solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated. After the services the cortege will proceed by special trolley service, from Twelfth avenue and Thirteenth street, to Hollidaysburg, where the interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery.
