Cambria Street, Bellwood, died Wednesday morning, September 3, 2003 at Altoona Hospital after a brief illness. She was born January 21, 1931 in Bellwood, a daughter of the late Jacob K. and Elizabeth (Stapleton) Cramer. She married Chester H. Collier on October 16, 1950 in Winchester, Va. Mrs. Collier is survived by her husband, a daughter Karen E. Gibbons and husband Kenneth of Bellwood, two sons, Michael B. and C. Timothy and his wife Kari all of Bellwood; five grandchildren: Sharon A. and David Gibbons, and Danielle G., Timmy B., and Karissa N. Collier; a brother Jacob Cramer of Hyde and her stepmother who she was raised by, Helen P. Johnson of Frankstown; stepsister Betty M. Tosby of Chicago; stepbrother Charles T. Barr of Altoona. She was preceded in death by her brother, PFC Wilmer B. Cramer, who lost his life in action in Siapan on July 4, 1944 while serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. Mrs. Collier was a 1949 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. She was an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Bellwood, where she was a Sunday School teacher, treasurer of the Sunday School for 30 years, a member of the administrative board, a teacher for Bible School, and a children's song leader. Mrs. Collier started "Pennies for Missions" with Sunday School children donating moneys raised to Epworth Manor birthday parties, Perry Haupt's missions to Russia, fire victims, the Heffer Project, Crop Walks, School Bag Missions and the Samaritan's Purse among many others. She loved her family and was caregiver to many of her relatives. She also loved her church family. Mrs. Collier enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her and loved her. Friends will be received on Friday, September 5, 2003 from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. at the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2003 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Bellwood, with Rev. Robert Rupp officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in Georgeanna's memory may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, Main Street, Bellwood, Pa. 16617 or to The American Cancer Society, Blair County Chapter, N.
