COLLINS

  David William Collins died at his home, 109 East Cherry avenue, at 
7.15 o'clock last night of pneumonia, following influenza.  He was born 
in Altoona March 31, 1878 and was a machine hand in the car shop.  He 
was a member of the First Church of God and of the Brotherhood of 
Carmen of America.  Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by 
three children, Gladys, 15, Laura, 10 and George, 7.  Two brothers, J. 
W. Collins, of Sharon, and Joseph, of Altoona, also survive, as do 
three sisters, Mrs. William Young, Mrs. E. C. Abbott and Miss Eva, all 
of this city.  Funeral notice later.
