COLLINS Of Williamsburg RD 2, died at 9:38 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, 1972, in Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, where he was admitted Saturday. He was born at Williamsburg RD Aug. 20, 1893, a son of William H. and Hannah (Gates) Collins, and married Gladys Shingler on Dec. 18, 1912, in Williamsburg. Surviving are his wife, four children, Gerald W., of Martinsburg, Mrs. Guila Barkman of Everett, Mrs. Evelyn A. Wagner of Williamsburg RD and William R. Jr. of Hollidaysburg; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and five brothers and sisters, Allen Treese of Ebensburg, Clarence Treese of Youngstown, Ohio, Mrs. Grace Scott of Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Ruth Wike of Belsano and Mrs. Elizabeth Treese of Michigan. Mr. Collins retired in 1962 as a shovel operator for Woodbury Clay Co. Friends will be received in the Friedline Funeral Home, Williamsburg, from 2 to 4(?) and 7 to 9:30 p.m. tomorrow and after 10 a.m. Wednesday. COLLINS - Services for William R. Collins of Williamsburg RD will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Friedline Funeral Home, Williamsburg, by the Rev. Donald R. Sadler. Interment in Alto-Reste Burial Park.
