COLYER Of 311 Fifth avenue, a retired gang foreman of the Altoona works, died suddenly of a heart condition at his home at 2.35 o'clock yesterday afternoon. He was born in Altoona on Jan. 11, 1868, a son of John W. and Mary (Weidensall) Colyer, and married Mary Kate Vauclain on June 25, 1891. Mr. Colyer retired from the Juniata shops on June 1, 1935, after forty-eight years of employment as an apprentice, machinist and gang foreman. Surviving are his wife, one daughter and one son, Mrs. Harry L. Metz and Charles C. Colyer, both of this city, and three grandchildren. Mr. Colyer was a member of the Wilmerding lodge, Knights of Pythias, and St. Luke's Episcopal church. The body may be viewed at the home. COLYER - Funeral services for Harry G. Colyer of 311 Fifth avenue will be held at 2.30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in St. Luke's Episcopal church. Interment in Fairview cemetery. The body may be viewed at the home.
