It is Added to by the Removal of Loved Ones. THOSE WHO HAVE RECENTLY GONE Among the Number is John W. Colyer, Who for Many Years was a Foreman in the Employ of the P.R.R. Company. On Saturday afternoon John Wilson Colyer, of 400 Cherry avenue, an old citizen and a highly respected gentleman, died of kidney disease, after an illness that had kept him in bed for one week. He had, however, been ailing for several months. He was born November 38, 1835, at Water Street. In the year 1856 he was married to Miss Mary Estrict, who died in 1861. In 1866 he married Miss Mollie Weidensall, who survives her husband, together with the following children: Harry G. Colyer, of 1523 Fifth avenue, this city; and Irene M. Colyer, at home. A sister, Mrs. Charles Kelly, of Mill Run, and a brother, Mr. E. B. Colyer, of Pittsburg, also survive. The deceased was a member of the First Presbyterian church, and was always faithful in the discharge of his duties to his church, scarcely ever being absent from the regular service. He has been an employe of the Pennsylvania Railroad company as a foreman of bricklayers for twenty-six years. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons, of Verandah lodge 532, Independent Order Odd Fellows; of Eleanor Rebeka lodge No. 21, of the same order, and the Pennsylvania Railroad Company Relief. The funeral will be in charge of the Odd Fellows. The remains will be taken to the Fourth Lutheran church where services will be conducted this afternoon at 4 o'clock, by Rev. D. S. Lentz assisted by Rev. J. W. Bain. The body will be buried in Fairview cemetery. Morning Tribune, Monday, June 26, 1899
