He was born April 26,... and spent his entire life in the... his home being located near the... reservoir. A woodsman by oc-... as a man of great strength... cleared many tracts of timber in... section, hundreds of acres falling... his axe. The Juniata congrega-.... of the Church of the Brethren has... completed the erection of a new church in Riggle's gap, hear the Colyer home, and while Mr. Colyer had never affiliated with the church, he took a great interest in the work of building the structure. In his last days he embraced Christianity and intended to unite with the church with the completion of the new edifice. It is now about completed and his funeral will be the first to be held there. Sixty years ago he was married to Miss Christina Nail, who survives him with the following children: A. B. and Mrs. Annie Price of Bellwood, Mrs. Hannah Chambers of Greenwood, Miss Rosie, at home. Twelve grandchildren also survive and a brother and two sisters, Nathaniel Colyer of Mill Run, Mrs. *ane Glunt of Altoona and Mrs. Mary Sutton of Hollidaysburg. Funeral service will be held at the new church at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. J. W. Wilt. Interment in Asbury cemetery.
