Friday afternoon, April 29, at 2 o'clock, Daniel Colclesser, of Eldorado, departed this life, without a struggle and after a short illness, in the 80th year of his life. The deceased was one of the oldest and best known citizens of Blair county, having resided at the place of his decease for over fifty years. His wife died some six years since. Of their children, Mary, John, Samuel and Adie reside at Eldorado; Henry, pastor of the North Wales Baptist church, at North Wales, Montgomery county, and William at Cincinnati. The deceased was for fifty years a member of the Hollidaysburg Baptist church, and his life was the life of a consistent Christian and an upright man. The funeral took place on Monday, May 2.
