VIRGINIA CONDON

  Mrs. Virginia Ann Condon, age 75, a former Tyrone resident, of 
Youngs Road, Box 16, Basking Ridge, NJ, died Friday, March 7, 2003 at 
her home following an extended illness. She was born July 10, 1927 in 
Philadelphia, the daughter of the late Robert B. and Ruth Dimling 
Garman and on September 3, 1949 was married at Trinity Episcopal 
Church, Tyrone, to Verner H. Condon who survives. Also surviving are 
two daughters - Martha Condon Myers of Mount Vernon, Iowa and Nancy 
Condon of Buckhannon, West Virginia. Also, surviving is a sister, 
Betsy, wife of William P. Smith of Tyrone and a number of nieces and 
nephews. Mrs. Condon was a graduate of Tyrone High School of 1945 and 
had attended Penn State University. A memorial service will be held at 
a time to be announced. Contributions in her memory may be made to the 
Tyrone Snyder Public Library, 1019 Logan Avenue, Tyrone, PA 16686.
