All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ Man Killed - A man named Martin Coner was knocked down by the westward express train, on Tuesday morning last, in the vicinity of Blair Furnace, and almost instantly killed. It is thought that he was not right in his mind, as he was first observed standing on (or close by) the track, pointing up at the sun, and notwithstanding the whistle was sounded, he did not move until the bumper struck him.
