FRED R. CONFER

Of Wilmore road, Ebensburg, R.D. 2, died yesterday at his home. He was 
born in Duncansville Aug. 2, 1896, a son of John and Margaret (Gibson) 
Confer. Surviving are his wife, the former Esther Blackburn; one 
daughter, Mrs. Frances Brosman of Ebensburg, R.D. 1; two grandchildren 
and two sisters, Mrs. Warren Hesser of Altoona and Mrs. Jeanette Wertz 
of Brookes Milles. Mr. Confer was a member of the Hollidaysburg 
Presbyterian church. Friends will be received at the Askew funeral 
home, Ebensburg, after 7 o'clock this evening.
