Local Brevities.

  Henry Conlon, for some years past a laborer on the Dempsey farm, died 
at noon Saturday after an illness of one week from Bright's disease, in 
his 72d year.  The funeral will take place from the farm this morning, 
to proceed to the Sacred Heart chapel, where at 9 o'clock services will 
be held.  Interment to follow in St. John's cemetery.
