Conner, After an illness of one month, resulting from rheumatism of the brain, Miss Anna L. Conner died at her residence, 1220 Seventeenth avenue, at 10 o'clock yesterday morning. The deceased was 28 years of age and was the main support of her widowed mother and sister, her father having been killed on the railroad a few years ago. Miss Conner was a telegraph operator and served the Western Union for several years, and latterly with the Pennsylvania Railroad company at the AB office. Besides her mother and sister, Miss Mollie, who reside in this city, she leaves two other sisters and one brother, Griffith Conner of Conemaugh, Mrs. D. E. Banks of Harrisburg, and Mrs. C. K. Miller of Newport, Perry county. The deceased was a most estimable young lady and a member of the First Presbyterian church. After short services at the residence by Rev. J. W. Bain, at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning the remains will be taken to the depot, thence on day express to Mifflin, where services will be held in the Presbyterian church, interment following.
