CONNER After five weeks of suffering from injuries received while engaged at his work in the pain shop of the Pennsy in this city, Valentine B. Conner of 1020 Fourth avenue, died this morning at 5 o'clock at the Altoona hospital to which institution he was removed following the accident in the shops. Mr. Conner was born in Washington, D.C., on Aug. 11, 1853, and had been a resident of this city for the past thirty-four years, being employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company as a painter. He is survived by his wife, Cora V. Conner, and these children: Ada and Paul, both of this city, and two grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and one sister, John F. and Joseph Conner and Mrs. Catharine Mead, all of Washington, D.C. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic church, the Carmen's union and the P.R.R. Relief association. Altoona Mirror, Tuesday, January 11, 1921 FUNERAL NOTICE. The funeral of Valentine Conner will be held on Friday morning, the cortege to leave his late residence, 1020 Fourth avenue, at 8.30 o'clock and proceed to Mt.
