ANNIE DYSART CONRAD A Godly Woman Passed to Her Reward Friday Evening. On Friday evening at 7.15 o'clock, Mrs. Annie Dysart Conrad, widow of the late Dr. Samuel Conrad, passed to her reward. On Thursday morning, Mrs. Conrad was seized with violent pain in her head which she thought was earache. Her condition grew worse until about eleven o'clock when she was stricken with apoplexy. She never regained consciousness and passed peacefully away Friday evening at the above mentioned time. Mrs. Conrad was a daughter of the late James and Mary Ann Dysart, of Eden Valley, and was born at the old homestead in the valley about 72 years ago, and all her life was spent in this vicinity. After being united in marriage to Dr. Conrad, she moved to Johnstown, where the doctor enjoyed a large practice. To this union were born two children who, with the father, have preceded the mother and wife to the grave. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Conrad came to Tyrone, and of late had been making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Edward McClintock, of Lincoln avenue. Mrs. Conrad who was the last of her family, enjoyed the friendship and esteem of a host of persons in Tyrone and throughout Eden valley. Early in life, she united with the First Presbyterian church and since then has lived her life very close to the Master. She was a woman of a quiet, motherly disposition and when an opportunity presented itself, she was doing someone a kindness. The funeral services were held at the McClintock home on Lincoln avenue on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. J. C. Day. Interment in Grandview cemetery.
