Temple Lane, Greenwood, formerly of 923 3rd Ave., died at 5 a.m. today, April 25, 1974, in Altoona Hospital after an extended illness. Mr. Conrad was employed by the Penn Central. He was born Oct. 12, 1916, in Hollidaysburg, a son of George and Edna M. (Mackey) Conrad, and married Lucy DeStadio. Surviving are his wife, three children, Danny J. of Macon, Ga., and George N. and Mrs. Carol A. Pincin of Altoona; three grandsons, his mother, of Altoona, and seven brothers and sisters, Edgar of San Mateo, Calif., George, Robert and Mrs. Lillian Woodring of Altoona, Mrs. Betty Lloyd and Mrs. Jo Ann Goddard of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Helen Kehoe of Chicago, Ill. Mr. Conrad was an Army veteran of world War II, serving as a sergeant in a tank battalion. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the Buccinese Club. Friends will be received in the Santella Funeral Home from 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Altoona Mirror, April 25, 1974
