EMILY MARIE (WITTMER) CONRAD

A native of Altoona, died at 1:15 a.m. yesterday, March 18, 1974, at the Dar-
Way Nursing Home, Forksville.  She was born April 30, 1886, a daughter of Henry 
and Rose (Mayer) Wittmer, and married Louis Conrad, who died in 1951.  
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Esther M. Miller, with whom she resided in 
Forksville, and Louis C. of Allentown; two grandsons, a great-granddaughter and 
a sister, Mrs. Lydia I. Conrad of Altoona.  Mrs. Conrad was a member of St. 
James Lutheran Church, Altoona.  Friends will be received in the Gilden Barton 
Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
