FREDERICK C. CONRAD

Of 1511 4th Ave., died at 11 p.m. yesterday, Jan. 19, 1973, at Altoona 
Hospital, where he was admitted Jan. 15.  He was born in Altoona on Aug. 27, 
1888, a son of Michael C. and Elizabeth (Boehm) Conrad, and married Edna G. 
Ullery on Jan. 10, 1910.  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Martha Jean 
Walker, Mrs. Edna C. Daniels and Mrs. Winifred Keyes, all of Altoona; four 
grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.  Mr. Conrad retired from the 
Pennsylvania Railroad as a welder in the car shops in 1956 after 51 years' 
service.  He was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church. Friends will be 
received in the Carn Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
