JOHN J. CONRAD

Of 1714 4th Ave., died at 9:40 a.m. yesterday, June 4, 1972, in Altoona 
Hospital, where he was admitted April 19, after an extended illness.  He was 
born Dec. 7, 1891, in Altoona, a son of George H. and Christine (Pfalzgraf) 
Conrad, and married Frieda Rinke, who died July 22, 1971.  Surviving are a 
sister, Frieda of Altoona, and several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Conrad, 
employed as an office clerk by Standard Oil Co., East Freedom, retired in 1956.  
He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.  Friends will be received in 
Stevens Mortuary from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
