LAVERNE E. DOTZLER CONRAD

Of 2305 3rd Ave., died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 1970, in Fitzgerald 
Nursing Home, after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona Nov. 4, 1900, 
a daughter of Charles W. and Martha (Meredith) Dotzler, and married Charles E. 
Conrad. Surviving are her husband, three step-children, Mrs. Rilla Jones of 
McKeesport, Mrs. Edith Stack of Sarasota, Fla., and Edward of Poland, Ohio; 
eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and a brother, Milton A. of 
Altoona. Mrs. Conrad was a member of the First Baptist Church and ladies Bible 
Class. She was a former employe of the Altoona Works. Friends will be received 
in the Laughlin-Carn Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
