RACHEL KATHRYN CONRAD Widow of Joseph Conrad, who died on Feb. 19, this year, died this morning at 2 o'clock at the family home, 1507 Ninth street, death being attributed to a heart ailment with which she had been afflicted for the past five years. She was born at East Freedom on Aug. 22, 1855, and resided there for many years before coming to this city some years ago. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Harry Butcher of Philadelphia, Mrs. Allen Lingenfelter of East Freedom, Thomas Conrad of Altoona, Charles Conrad of Llyswen, William Conrad of Eldorado, Frank Conrad, Mrs. George Bingham and Miss Daisy Conrad, a teacher in the city schools, all at home; eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother, Austin M. Feather of Roaring Spring. She was a member of the Second Lutheran church, the Missionary societies and the Maccabees. The body may be viewed at the home any time after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Thursday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock in charge of her pastor, Rev. C. H. Hershey. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery.
