ROBERT F. CONRAD

Of 2007 9th Ave., died at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1978, in the Altoona 
Hospital, following an extended illness.  He retired as a welder from the Penn 
Central Railroad.  He was born Oct. 6, 1918, in Newry, the son of Nelson J. and 
Jennie E. (Holland) Conrad.  Surviving are two sons, Dean C. of Duncansville RD 
and Gary of Gloucester, England, two grandchildren, five brothers and sisters, 
Rodney C., Glenn R. and Wayne H., all of Duncansville RD, Mrs. Yvonne Wilt of 
Tampa, Fla., and Mrs. Betty Horetsky of Newry.  Mr. Conrad was a World War II 
veteran.  He was a member of the Newry Lutheran Church.  Friends will be 
received in the Donald E. Liebegott Funeral Home, Duncansville, from 7 to 9 
p.m. Thursday.
