He was born in East Freedom May 4, 1889, a son of Joseph and Katherine (Feathers) Conrad. He was a member of the Altoona Bible church and a car builder for the Pennsylvania Railroad with 40 years service. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Pearl (Claar) Conrad, and these children; Donald of Duncannon, Russell and Mrs. Betty Arrington of Altoona, five grandchildren, and these sisters and brothers; Mrs. Annie Lingenfelter of East Freedom, Miss Daisy Conrad of Altoona, Mrs. Ella Butcher of Philadelphia, William and Charles of Altoona. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after 7 o'clock this evening.
