CONROY 69, of 1930 Hudson Ave., died at 8:15 p.m. Friday, May 16, 1980, in Altoona Hospital, after a brief illness. Known as Kim, Mr. Conroy retired as a mechanic for Fiore Buick in 1965, after 46 years' service. He was born June 23, 1910, in Altoona, the son of Joseph E. and Hilda A. (Zeak) Conroy, and Feb. 10, 1934, married Dorothy Reifsnyder. Surviving are his wife, three sons, George K. Jr. of Union Lake, Mich.; Donald J. of Camp Springs, Md., and P. Dennis of Bowie, Md., four grandchildren and one brother, Francis P. of Altoona. Mr. Conroy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society, Heidelberg Country Club, Bavarian Aid Society and Unter Uns. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Stevens Mortuary. CONROY - The funeral of George K. Conroy of 1930 Hudson Ave., will be held with a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Stevens Mortuary, 1421 8th Ave., where rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday and a wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday.
