Local Brevities.

  At Allegheny city, at 5 o'clock on Monday evening, Thomas Raymond, 
the 13-year-old son of Thomas and Jane Conroy, died of the grip.  The 
remains were brought to this city Tuesday evening and taken to the 
residence of the grandparents, corner of Fourteenth avenue and 
Fourteenth street, from where the funeral took place yesterday morning 
at 9 o'clock, the interment being made in St. John's cemetery.
