WILLIAM ROBERT COOK Mr. William Cook, 79 formerly of 2411 Horner Drive died Saturday Feb. 8, 1986 in Sun City Center, Regional Medical Center, Sun City Fla. Mr. Cook retired as a supervisor from the US Post Office in 1972, after 32 years service. He was born Aug. 12, 1906, in Altoona, the son of Robert A. and Minnie (Harris) Cook, and was twice married; first on April 18, 1932, to Dorothy Mae Baird, who died Oct 19, 1976, the on March 1, 1979, in Cumberland Md., to Mildred A. Miller. Surviving are his wife, two children; Robert E. of Reston, Va., and Doris Jean Johnson of Walnut Calif., and seven grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Viola McCartney of Columbia, Md. Mr. Cook was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Juniata; Logan Lodge, F&AM, Jaffa Shrine Temple and Square and Compass Club. He was a 32nd degree mason in the Altoona Consistory. Mr. Cook was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and National Rifle Association. Friends will be received in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.
