C. Nugent at 1200 Seventeenth avenue for many years, died suddenly at 7 o'clock last evening in Franklinville, Huntingdon county, after becoming ill yesterday morning. Miss Coombs had been a teacher in the Salem, N.J., High school from which she retired in 1917 after having served in the teaching profession for forty years. She was born in Bridgeton, N.J., on April 21, 1855, a daughter of David and Sarah Coombs. Surviving is one brother, T. C. Coombs of Denver, Colo. Miss Coombs was a member of the Salem, N.J., Presbyterian church. The body may be viewed at the Lafferty funeral home from 7 until 9 o'clock Tuesday evening. COOMBS - Funeral services for Miss Annie Coombs of Franklinville will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, at the Lafferty funeral home by Rev. Walter Lowrie? Ritter of the First Presbyterian church. Interment will be made in Alto-Reste cemetery. The body may be viewed at the funeral home from 7 until 9 o'clock Tuesday evening.
