CORBIN Of Box 349, Tyrone RD 2, died unexpectedly at 1:10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, 1978, in his home. Mr. Corbin retired as a machinist from the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1967 after 49 years' service. He was born Dec. 27, 1902, in Altoona, a son of Edgar A. and S. May (Otto) Corbin, and was twice married, first to Madeline M. Neff, who died in March 1929, and then on Aug. 3, 1932, to Miriam G. Doebler. Surviving are his wife, five children, Rosella DeRiemer of Lakewood, Calif.; Madeline Wagner of Altoona, Edgar A. Jr. of Manchester, Mo., Corrin N. of Kennett Square, Wenda Clouser of Camp Hill; 16 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a brother and two sisters, Jacob of Tipton, Rosie C. Eason of Olympia, Wash., and Ellen M. Congrove of Glendale, Ariz. Mr. Corbin was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church. He also was a member of the Altoona Engineering Society and was on the board of directors of the Bellwood Farm Show. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Hickey-Davies Funeral Home. Altoona Mirror, December 18, 1978
