CORBIN Died at his home, 321 Oak avenue, at 2:05 yesterday afternoon of a complication of diseases. During the month of January while in Pittsburg he sustained a fall and since that time he had been in ill health. Deceased was the son of George W. (deceased) and Martha E. Corbin, was born on June 7, 1875, at Three Springs, Huntingdon county, and had been a resident of this city for the past twenty years. He entered the service of the Pennsylvania Railroad company some fifteen years ago as a car repairman and his show of industry won his promotion until five years ago when he was appointed to the position of material inspector, working under E. D. Nelson, engineer of tests. He was located in the Pittsburg district and it was while on duty that he met with the accident that developed into his last sickness. He was a member of the Second United Brethren church, Mountain lodge, No. 281, Free and Accepted Masons and the Independent Americans. He was married some fourteen years ago to Susanna May Otto, who survives with four children, Otto, Edgar, Rose and Helen. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. Martha E. Corbin of this city and these brothers and sisters: A. B. and George W. Corbin of Altoona; Mrs. Alice Colgate of Cumberland Gap, Tenn. and Mrs. Laura Becker of Pittsburg. The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon and will be in charge of Mountain lodge, No. 281, Free and Accepted Masons. Services will be conducted at the house at 2:30 o'clock to be followed by interment in Fairview cemetery. Altoona Mirror, Thursday, June 2, 1910, p. 12, col. 1
