She was born Oct. 9, 1895, in Altoona, a daughter of Jeremiah G. and Ann (Tipton) Reffner, and married John R. Corboy on Oct. 19, 1914, at the home of the bride. Surviving are her husband, three children, Robert J. of Johnstown, William G. of Altoona and Mrs. Jean A. Lowe of West Memphis, Ark.; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a brother and two sisters, Elwood of Juniata and Mrs. Effie Karle and Mrs. Ida Korman of Altoona. Mrs. Corboy was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, where she had served as deaconess for many years and was a member of the Fellowship Bible Class. Friends will be received in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Altoona Mirror, December 19, 1975
