MRS. ALICE CORLE

Of Claysburg, R. D., died at 11 o'clock yesterday morning at her home following 
a brief illness. Mrs. Corle was born Oct. 20, 1879, in Bedford county, a 
daughter of Elizabeth Gardner. Her husband, Joseph, died 10 years ago. Surviving 
are these children: Mrs. Julia Knisely, Mrs. Edward A. Musselman, Mrs. Crawford 
Baker, Miss Hattie and Lawrence of Claysburg; Charles E. of Osterburg, Mrs. 
Clifford Clouse of Imler and Mrs. Calvin Flaugh of East Freedom; 35 
grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Artie and Elmer, are 
deceased. Mrs. Corle was a member of the Reformed church, Pavia, for 65 years. 
Friends are being received at the home.
