A few days since Mrs. Charity Cornelius came to this city to visit her brother, Mayor William T. Howard, and at her brothers-in-law, Officer Dotzler. She was almost immediately taken very sick with inflammatory rheumatism which resulted fatally on Monday night. Her friends at her home in Baltimore have been notified of her decease but the date of the funeral has not yet been fixed. The funeral of Mrs. Charity Cornelius, of Baltimore, who died in this city, will take place from the residence of Charles A. Dotzler, on Seventh avenue, between Twenty-second and Twenty-third streets, this afternoon at 4 o'clock; interment at Fairview cemetery. Mrs. Cornelius was aged 32 years, 8 months and 5 days.
