All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _________________________________________ JUNIATA YOUNG MAN IS KILLED AT BROWNSVILLE Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Cornelius of 823 Third avenue, Juniata, received a telegram late yesterday afternoon announcing the death of their son, Marion Russell Cornelius, aged 25, he having been killed on Wednesday evening in some manner while in the discharge of his duties as a brakeman on the Lake Erie division of the Pennsy at Brownsville, Fayette county. The telegram merely stated that the young man had been killed while working and asked about the disposition of the body. The young man had formerly worked in the Juniata railroad yards as a brakeman, having been employed there for three years. He was born at Patton on June 18, 1895, the son of Samuel and Harriet Kocher (Cornelius). Beside his parents he is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Harry of Juniata, Mrs. J. W. Dunn of Greenwood, Mrs. H. G. Seales [Scales?] of Juniata and Jessie G., at home. No funeral arrangement have been made pending the arrival of the body from Brownsville. Undertaker N. E. Rohrer of the firm of Rohrer and Mauk left for Brownsville for the body last evening. Altoona Mirror, Friday, January 21, 1921
