MISS MARY EMMA CORNS, 

Of 423 Twenty-Second avenue died at the Altoona hospital yesterday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.  She was a trained nurse and practiced her 
profession in this city for a number of years.  Deceased was born near 
Bellwood, March 25, 1857, a daughter of James and Mary Corns.  
Surviving are two sisters, Miss Florence at home, Mrs. W. G. Swartz of 
Eustis, Florida and one brother Hiram Corns of Vancouver, B.C.  She was 
a member of the Fairview  Methodist church.  The body will be removed 
to the late home this evening.  Funeral services will be conducted at 
the Fairview Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. 
Interment will be at Rosehill cemetery.
