He was born in Ripicandidia, Italy, on Oct. 7, 1889, but had been in this country for the past thirty-five years, conducing a shoe shop at Fourth avenue and Fourth street for a number of years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Theresa (Calvano) Corrado; three daughters and one son, Mrs. Joseph Vasile and Mrs. Mary Moffa of the city, Nicholas and Helen, at home; one grandson, Nicholas Vasile; two brothers and three sisters, John Corrado of Schuylkill Haven, Michael, Mrs. Theresa Laratonda, Mrs. Lucy DeSabato and Mrs. Fedele Gentilcore, all of the city. Mr. Corrado was a member of Mount Carmel Catholic church, of the Avanti Savoia lodge, Sons of Italy in America, and the confraternity of Mount Carmel church. Mr. Corrado reposes at the family home. CORRADO - The funeral of Vincent James Corrado of 222 East Bell avenue will be held Friday morning, with requiem mass at 9 o'clock in Mt. Carmel church. Interment in Calvary cemetery.
