  Verona W., daughter of Joseph and Kate Cowan, of 1601 Twenty-seventh avenue, 
died yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock; of scarlet fever, aged 13 months.  The 
funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock; interment in St. Mary's 
cemetery.
