MRS. HARRIET COX

  Mrs. Harriet Cox, mother of Mrs. Anna Wentz of Roaring Spring, died at her 
home at Hollidaysburg on Wednesday evening of last week at 8 o'clock, death 
being attributed to a complication of ailments.
  She was born at Queen, Bedford county, on July 21, 1851, and was united in 
marriage with William Cox on Jan. 27, 1887 at Queen, who survives with four sons 
and three daughters and ten grandchildren.  A sister and brother also survive, 
Mrs. Catherine Bowser of Leamersville and Albert Stambaugh of Altoona.
  She was a member of the Methodist church at Claysburg.  Funeral services were 
conducted at the home on Saturday afternoon with interment in the McIntire 
cemetery.
