DEATH OF JOHN HENRY COX.

  At 12.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon John Henry Cox died at the home 
of his mother, Mrs. Levina Cox, 2403 Fourth avenue, of consumption, 
with which he had been ailing for some months.  Deceased was aged 20 
years, 9 months and 7 days.  He was a favorite with his companions and 
was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist church.  Besides his mother he is 
survived by one brother, Samuel, and two sisters, Miss Della and Mrs. 
Rall.  The funeral will take place at 2.30 o'clock Friday afternoon; 
interment in Eastern Light cemetery.
