Craine, a resident of Antis township, died on Saturday in Oklahoma City, where he had gone three weeks ago on a visit. He was born in Antis township Nov. 9, 1850 and was united in marriage July 4, 1880, to Miss Alice Brady, who was at his bedside at the time of his death. Besides his widow the following children survive: Edwin C. of Homers Gap, Howard E., Terrence A., and Mrs. Daisy Burns of Juniata and Mrs. Bess Hanley, at home. The following brothers and sisters also survive: William D. of Antis township, Seth W. and Mrs. Annie Longabaugh of Altoona, Mrs. Mary Durbin of Fort Wayne, Ind., and a twin sister, Mrs. Nancy Waldsmith of Huntingdon. Mr. Craine was employed by the Pennsy and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. Funeral arrangements will be made later. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, October 22, 1918 JOHN L. CRAINE A life long resident of Antis township, passed away while visiting in Oklahoma City. Mr. Craine and his wife left home three weeks ago, for the west, at which time he was in the best of health. On Saturday Mr. Craine suffered a stroke of paralysis, which proved fatal. He was born in Antis township on November 9, 1850, and was united in marriage July 4, 1880 to Alice Brady, who was at his bedside at the time of his death. Surviving to mourn with the wife are the following children: Edwin C., of Homer's Gap; Howard F., Terrence A. and Mrs. Daisy Burns all of Juniata and Mrs. Bess Hanly at home.
