His remains were brought to this place, by his father, on Monday, and were interred on Tuesday, in the Presbyterian cemetery. He was afflicted with sickness for a long time, which he bore, without repining. He was quite a favorite in this, his native home, and our citizens will learn with sorrow of his death. The Register, Hollidaysburg, Pa., Wednesday, February 11, 1874 LEMON CRAINE - A nephew of Col. John Lemon, went to Texas some few months since, seeking to recover his health, but that fell destroyer, consumption, had fastened its dread grasp on his vitals. Finding that he was not benefited by the change, he started to return home, but it was too late; he died in St. Louis, on the 6th inst. His body was brought home, on Monday the 9th inst., and on Tuesday he was interred in the Presbyterian cemetery. So passed away one who was universally beloved, aged only 22 years. Lemon Craine died in St. Louis, Mo., Friday 6th inst. The Register, Hollidaysburg, Pa., Wednesday, February 18, 1874
